I believe that art is the tangible manifestation of our souls, the heart of humanity. Art is truth, raw and exposed. It's vulnerable. It's our sores and our triumphs. My works make up a visual journal about love, loss of sanity, and the processes of healing that we all struggle with. So, each piece will hold a different meaning for every person.
I find my inspiration in all things nature. I’m obsessed with the similarities between plants and animals; their need for light, their winding veins and roots that carry their life giving nutrients serve as reminders that everything is connected. It's comforting to know that we are all in this thing together. We all bleed the same blood.
